An interactive and educational school trip!

Sensory challenge

During this interactive and educational program, your students or pupils will step into the shoes of our blind and visually impaired guides for a moment.

In the "Tour in absolute dark", they will experience what it feels like to be blind. Accompanied by a guide, they will venture out and learn more about life without sight. This is done interactively with our Sensory Challenge, a game with a competitive element in total darkness.

Through the personal stories of our blind or visually impaired guides and the challenge, they will gain a new perspective on the world. This perspective contributes to a more inclusive society.

The challenge and accompanying program provide a great way to make citizenship education more tangible.

My guide dog and I

If you come with 29 students or more, you have the option to add 'My Guide Dog and I' to your visit. During this activity, you will get acquainted with the loyal companion of one of our guides, the guide dog. The guide will share information about working with a guide dog, including the training and education process.

Tips for a successful visit

A good preparation for your trip to muSEEum is important, as you will be entering complete darkness. This can be quite exciting. From experience, we’ve found that when students or pupils know in advance what to expect, the experience goes more smoothly and has a greater impact.

That’s why, after booking, you will receive a teacher’s guide with all the necessary information and helpful tips for your visit.
