Social return

An inclusive society is what we stand for. We achieve this by providing meaningful experiences to visitors and creating jobs for blind and visually impaired people.

On this page, you will discover how your organization can help blind and visually impaired people with a distance to the labor market find a workplace where their disability is a strength.

Our impact mission

'Blind and visually impaired people live in an inclusive society where everyone has the same opportunities and rights to participate independently.'

Did you know that only 29% of the over 350,000 blind and visually impaired people in the Netherlands have a paid job? Additionally, they are often confronted with misunderstanding and prejudice in society. That’s why we are committed every day to create paid jobs and work experience opportunities through our tours, which offer a more inclusive perspective on the world.

“I enjoy offering people a unique and special excursion with added value. By sharing my story with visitors, I notice that something changes. It’s exactly this added value that makes my job at muSEEum so interesting.”
